Honoring Sanatan Traditions with Devotion and Grandeur

Throughout the year, Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara hosts and participates in a wide range of religious festivals, spiritual gatherings, and traditional ceremonies that reflect the depth and vibrancy of Sanatan Dharma. These events are moments of divine celebration, sacred learning, and collective upliftment, drawing saints, disciples, and devotees from across India and the world.

Annual Dharm Sansads

The Annual Dharm Sansads organized by Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara are grand assemblies of saints, acharyas, scholars, and dharma-gurus who gather to deliberate on pressing spiritual, cultural, and social issues from the standpoint of Sanatan Dharma.

Kumbh Dharm Sansad

Held during the Kumbh Melas (Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, Nashik), this is the most significant gathering where Akharas come together to discuss dharmic, national, and cultural concerns. It includes spiritual resolutions, religious leadership decisions, and saintly addresses to the nation.

Magh Mela Dharm Sansad

Held annually during Magh Mela in Prayagraj, this Sansad focuses on scriptural dialogue, spiritual reforms, and issues affecting pilgrimages, akhara traditions, and the Sanatan path.

Chaturmas Dharm Sansad

Organized during the sacred Chaturmas period (four holy months), this Sansad includes in-depth discussions on sadhana, Vedic study, and promoting inner discipline. It’s often held in major branch ashrams or pilgrimage centers.

Simhastha Dharm Sansad

Coinciding with the Simhastha Kumbh in Ujjain, this Sansad brings together Naga sadhus, Mahamandaleshwars, and dharma gurus to reaffirm Akhara unity and strengthen ties between Shaiva, Vaishnava, and other traditions.

Emergency Dharm Sansads

Occasionally convened to respond to urgent religious or national matters, such as the Ram Mandir issue, protection of temples, or social reform based on dharmic values.

Ganga Aarti and Yatras

Every evening, as the sun sets and the sacred Ganga flows in serene majesty, Juna Akhara sadhus and devotees gather on the riverbank to perform the Ganga Aarti—a deeply symbolic and spiritually uplifting ritual dedicated to Mother Ganga.

🔱 What Happens During the Aarti

Sacred chants and bhajans fill the air as priests wave oil lamps in synchronized motions.Large brass aarti diyas (lamps) glow brightly, symbolizing light over darkness and purity over ego. Devotees offer flowers, incense, and camphor flames to the river, seeking blessings and inner peace. The sound of conch shells and bells echoes, creating an atmosphere of divine energy and devotion.

🔱 Where and When

Held daily at sunset on the banks of the Ganga in Haridwar, Varanasi, or Kumbh Mela sites. Special Aartis during Maha Shivratri, Kumbh Mela, and other holy days draw thousands of seekers.

Recent Spiritual Congregations

In keeping with its timeless mission of spiritual awakening and dharma protection, Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara continues to host and participate in major spiritual congregations across India. These gatherings unite saints, disciples, scholars, and devotees in a shared space of wisdom, worship, and Vedic dialogue.

Kumbh Mela (Prayagraj, 2025)

The Akhara led grand Peshwai processions, Shahi Snan (royal bath) ceremonies, and hosted Vedic discourses attended by thousands. A historic moment of unity and dharma reaffirmation.

Senior saints from the Akhara participated in the historic consecration ceremony of Bhagwan Shri Ram’s idol, offering blessings and leading spiritual chants and havans.

Key topics such as Sanatan Dharma in modern education, cow protection, and youth spiritual upliftment were discussed in the presence of revered Mahamandaleshwars and Acharyas.

Thousands gathered to honor the Guru-Shishya tradition, engage in Bhagavad Gita patha, and receive blessings from the Akhara’s spiritual heads.

A Shaiva-centered event celebrating Lord Mahakal, with Vedic chanting, cultural performances, and public teachings from Digambar saints.
