1. Purpose of Donations

All donations received through this website are sacred contributions made toward the charitable, religious, and cultural initiatives of Shri Nirvani Ani Akhara Digambar. Your offerings support:

  • Organization of Kumbh Melas, Shahi Snan, and religious events

  • Support for Sadhus, Mahants, and ascetic traditions

  • Maintenance of temples, dharamshalas, and gaushalas

  • Educational, spiritual, and public welfare services

  • Annadaan, medical camps, and other social causes

Every donation is treated with spiritual sanctity and financial responsibility.

2. Nature of Donations

  • All donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and made for charitable purposes.

  • Donors may contribute online, offline, or via bank transfer.

  • Donations are accepted in INR (for Indian citizens) and via FCRA-compliant routes for international donors.

  • Donations may be one-time or recurring.

3. Refund Policy

In general, donations are non-refundable. However, we recognize that errors can occur. Refunds will only be processed under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment made by mistake

  • Technical error causing multiple charges

  • Unauthorized transaction or fraudulent activity

Refund Request Process:

To request a refund, the donor must:

  • Email us at donations@digambarakhara.org within 7 days of the transaction

  • Provide: Full Name, Date of Donation, Transaction ID, Amount, and Reason

  • Allow up to 7 business days for internal review and response

Note:
Approved refunds will be credited to the original source of payment.
The Trust reserves the right to decline any request that does not meet the criteria above.

4. Donation Receipts & Tax Exemption

  • All successful donations are acknowledged with an official receipt via email.

  • Indian donors may be eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

  • To receive an 80G certificate, the donor must submit a valid PAN card and contact details at the time of donation.

5. Foreign Contributions (FCRA)

  • The Trust is registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

  • Foreign nationals or entities must donate through FCRA-approved bank channels only.

  • Foreign donors are required to provide complete identity and compliance details.

6. Security of Transactions

We prioritize secure donations:

  • Encrypted payment gateway (SSL) ensures your data is safe

  • No debit/credit card information is stored on our servers

  • We comply with Indian cyber and financial regulations

7. Changes to This Policy

This Refund & Donation Policy may be updated at any time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The latest version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the donation facility indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
